DVR online settings are something that needs to be done so that you can see the installed CCTV from your smartphone. No exception for those of you who have just installed CCTV with a Hikvision DVR. The following are the steps on how to set up the Hikvision CCTV DVR online :
1. Connect the DVR to the internet network using a lan cable.
2. Set the IP address in the settings menu - network - then enable dhcp. then click apply and save.
3. Still on the network menu, select advanced settings - then select platform access.
4. Check enable hik-connect and create a verification code - then click apply and save.
5. Download and install the Hik-Connect application via Playstore or App Store.
6. Once installed, then register an account on the Hik-Connect application.
7. After registration, please click +, then scan the barcode/QR code on the Hikvision DVR.
8. Then just next and next until finished.
